According to the Mortgage Bankers Association's (MBA) Quarterly Survey of Commercial & Multifamily Mortgage Bankers Originations, commercial/multifamily originations during the fourth quarter of 2011 were up 13 percent over the fourth quarter of 2010, but fell 7 percent from the third quarter of 2011.
