This is an exceptional time to be in multi-family. Our reliance on leverage and many of our loans tied to the 10 year treasury, this is nothing but good news. It will insure all time lows in interest rates.
We have a perfect storm in multi-family. There is an ever increasing proportion of the population moving into rentals, 3 million new Americans annually needing housing, very little new construction , over 500,000 units becoming obsolete annually, there is a very evident supply constraint now and definitely in the future. With interest rates so low, now is the time to be an owner/investor of multi-family.
